A newly released Visitor User Management Plan by the National Park Service increases the number of visitors allowed daily at Cumberland Island to 700, up from 300.

New plan increases visitor numbers to Cumberland Island National Seashore

Cumberland Island National Seashore will likely experience some massive changes after the National Park Service released a new Visitor User Management Plan in late August.The plan, released Aug. 31, includes an increase in visitors allowed on the island, from 300 to 700.
