With about three weeks until school starts, students got a leg up on their preparations and enjoyed a colorful luau theme Tuesday during Camden Family Connection’s Party in the Park at Crooked River State Park.

Recent Camden County High School graduate Jaycee Spencer won the Reigning American Teen Miss crown this weekend in Fernandina Beach, Fla. Spencer, who turned 18 on Saturday, also recently graduated from the Camden County Fire Rescue firefighting/EMT training school.
