Community Involvement: Mostly donations to our local charities and donations to the American Cancer Society and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. I am also Vice President of our local BNI chapter and member of the Chamber of Commerce. 

Why did you go into your particular field? I've always wanted to work in an advisory capacity, with the influence/guidance of my buddy Nik Schuepbach took a leap of faith into insurance 4 years ago and really think I found my calling. 

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? GM of the New York Yankees. Still have a shot. 

What was your first job? Dairy Queen, family business. 

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? "Don't worry about what anyone else is doing. Just control what you do." - My mom

What’s your favorite thing about your job? The relationships I’ve made with customers, referral partners and other business owners. 

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started your career? To get out there and start networking right away, the connections you make networking will far surpass any leads you could buy or any money you can spend on marketing. 

Who do you consider to be your greatest mentor and why? My parents. Not only in life but in business. They moved to the states when they were teenagers and built successful businesses. My mom taught me to work hard, and my dad taught me to dream big. 

When you’re not at work, what do you do to relax? Spend time with my daughter Emma, my dog Bear and my wife Sarah. Also, playing golf with my buddies. 

What is something about you that most people don’t know? I'm super competitive and I'm hesitant to do anything I can't be good at. 

How do you hope to grow in your career? Want to increase my knowledge base/designations, implement new technology and start hiring to really grow my agency. 

If you couldn’t do what you’re doing now, what would you be doing? I'm fascinated with commercial development and investing.
