Vickie Jackson, 64, of Woodbine (Kinlaw Community) Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick.
Vickie Lynn Rauls Jackson was born July 14, 1957, to the late Deacon James Rauls Jr. and Mother Myrtle R. Rauls, in Kingsland. She attended the public schools of Camden County and graduated with the Camden County High School Class of 1975. She was a member of Georgia Avenue Church of God. Vickie was employed by the Camden County Board of Education as a bus driver.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sharrika Marcum, Jamie Jackson and Kerris Hamilton; a praying Mother, Minister Myrtle Rauls; two brothers, Ronnie Rauls and Joseph (Bernadette) Rauls; three sisters, Vanessa Rauls, Cheryl (Willie) Johnson and Pastor Monica (Bernard) McGowan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Kingsland Cemetery, Kingsland Cemetery Road, Kingsland. A public walk-thru viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing are required.
